MEETING POINT : 30 North Arm Road, Middelcove

Todays HIKEFit program explores parts of Castlecove.. although it feels like a flat walk, there are some good ups and downs. You can complete 8km or the full 11km and get around 400m elevation in.
Today we will start at the steps heading into Scotts Creek, after passing eh creek, we find a management for about 500metres, then we are back into the bush heading to FigTree Cove, via the North Arm walking track. Dont forget to stop and take in the spectacular water views. This is an out and back track . Afer we return to the cars, if the not too hot there’s always a loop of harold reid reserve for that 3km.

As a qualified fitness trainer and with wilderness first aid certification, my aim is to help you get fit, be happy and healthy in nature.
It is essential you wear appropriate Walking Gear with stable shoes, sunhat, sunblock, and bring plenty of water. I encourage members to have breakfast beforehand so you body has enough fuel to handle the hike. I have posted a few questions upon registration that I require you to answer to ensure you are able to handle this walk from a Medical viewpoint.
