We will meet at Minnamurra Train station to collect those travelling by train (see details below); and then carpool to the start at the mouth of the Minnamurra River (Kiama Downs as known by locals) .

We can park your car for free and start walking heading south. This section takes you past Jones’s Beach into Cathedral Rocks ( boneyard beach ) around Bombo Quarry, across Bombo Beach and up to the Lighthouse / Blowhole via the harbour.

3 hours has now past and we are on the next section from the lighthouse / Blowhole to Kiama Hights (south Kiama ). In this section you will walk past many of Kiama’s more popular beaches including Surf Beach, Kendalls Beach, Easts Beach passing by the smaller yet just as good Little Blowhole and finishing up at Loves Bay.
This section is estimated to takes around 90mins or so.

The final section starts at Loves Bay, where we walk south along the beautiful coastline for six kilometres along the clifftops that lead into Werri Beach Lagoon.  Upon Werri Beach we head into Gerrigong and either carpool or train back to our starting point.

it will be important that we all hike as a group, as there are no safety checks along the way .

This is special hike is donating $50 from your fee to Shree Salija Madhyamik School in Lespar , NEPAL where we aim to help students get a better and longer education. Funds will be taken directly to help the school ion April 2019.
